Every party booking will have an expert VR Master(-s) who will explain all controls, guide the kids through their session and make sure they have a truly unforgettable experience.
At DNA VR, safety is our top priority. We have padded walls and floors that match virtual gridlines, wrist straps are required to be used and cables are mounted above players to prevent tangling. Our experienced VR Masters will guide players, and remind them not to lean or sit on any virtual objects as they aren't really there. As a precaution, please let us know in advance if there are any special needs we should be aware of.
We highly encourage adults to participate as well as it is an incredibly fun experience for individuals of all ages!
However, it is not mandatory for adults to participate if they choose not to.
We do kindly request that at least one adult stay at the venue at all times for supervision purposes.
We also want to assure you that you will not be charged for the presence of a non-participating adult. So, feel free to join in on the fun or simply observe and supervise, either way, we can't wait to welcome you at DNA VR!
Our venues can comfortably hold 20-35 people* with the majority of the group playing together.
We only have a certain number of headsets at each venue that can be used at one time (11 at Battersea and Camden, 9 at Hammersmith and 15 in Manchester); therefore, if your group exceeds this number, players will have to swap in and out of the headsets throughout the session. Additionally we have 4 extra Free Roam headsets that can be booked alongside the regular ones.
We also have a reception area at each venue where those who are not playing can rest and watch the others via the TV screens while they are waiting, so everyone is still involved! In Manchester we also have a small bar area.
Our experienced VR Masters will be on hand to assist you with the logistics of swapping members of your group out of the headsets, both safely and quickly!

We currently offer a selection of sweet and savoury snacks and soft drinks at all venues that you are welcome to pre-order before your booking or purchase on the day! We also currently offer beers and wines at our Manchester venue and will bring a similar selection of drinks to our London venues by the end of October - available for adults only! If you book out the whole venue for 2 hours or longer you would be welcome to bring/order your own food to enjoy in the break between sessions. We can also offer a pop-up bar for any corporate event that needs to be booked and pre-paid in advance. We do not have a separate function room but our reception areas have seating and tables where food and drinks can be enjoyed. We would only ask that it is all consumed within your booking time as we will have customers waiting to use the space in the next time slot. If you book out the venue for 2 hours or longer, you are welcome to bring your own decorations to put up, but please do let us know in advance what you are planning!
We kindly ask that you do not use adhesives that could damage our venues and that they are all taken down at the end of the session, as we will need the space for other customers.
We also cannot allow confetti or excessive candles for safety reasons.
